Compassionate Care, Always
Ear wax is produced to protect our ear canal, though wax can build up causing decreased hearing, itchiness and/or discomfort.

At home methods for ear wax removal such as cotton swabs can actually cause more wax build up by pushing ear wax deeper into the ear canal. A health care professional can ensure that while removing ear wax there is no damage to your ear drum or ear canal. Irrigation, or an ear flush, is a safe, effective way to remove built up ear wax. A curette can also be used to scrape ear wax from the ear canal.
As a registered nurse of 8 years, working in family physician offices, I have extensive experience removing ear wax from those ages 5-95. I bring the health care service of ear wax removal to the comfort of your own home in the Niagara Region.
